Rocked!
Sometimes I forget how cool it was.
Custom Chopper was probably my favorite magazine at that time.
I usually don't dig chops with stretched frames and long narrowed wide glides as much as I do on this ride. This bike is just about perfect. It was somewhat rare to run a rear 18" at that time.
Fashion was still influenced by the 60's. It was cool that they just used the guy's girl friends for models instead of the (strippers), poser models of today.
Peace signs and...
... bell bottoms.
Hopefully this post will keep M.D. from getting the blues again.

Just think.....
Those lovely girls in the pictures are in their early 60's age-wise now, and are probably grandmothers a couple times over.
I.R. I thought the very same thing when I posted this. I always wonder what folks from th epast look like now? Time can be cruel.
Tell me about it. Mirrors should be outlawed.
Just gotta love those FRESNO scooters & those rightous old ladys
That issue rocked my world!!!
Brings back some good memories of what I think of as a simpler time- especially for bike building.
Custom Chopper was a favorite of mine at the time too.
Thanks Chris, I grew up in Fresno so it takes me back.
Fresno. That may help explain why you're bikes are so tuned in.
Now, It makes me ask, are you Armenian?
No Italian, but I sure know a bunch of Armenian's.
That Fresnos Finest bike has always been a favorite; it's sure classic. Great pics, too.
