This Month's Header... maybe it's a stretch?

A little bit ago I saw this Classic Knucklehead on the LoserRules blog...
...which immediately made me think of...
...this art, which I've always loved!...
...which made me Photoshop this.

Hi Chris. I've always dug Roth's California Choppers booklet. A lot of my old pals did, as well. We all built bikes because of it. My old Pan/Shovel took a lot of styling cues from it. Thanks! W.

Hi Chris. Thanks for doing up your own version of the cover leaf of Roth's California Choppers. I've always dug that booklet (so did my pals). We all built choppers after checking it out. When I built my old Pan/Shovel, I took a lot of styling cues from the cover bike. Thanks, Ed Roth (RIP) and Chris! - W

Hey Chris!
I've been working on a '68 Fl stroker long bike with a crazy old wishbone frame that has the rear section tubes swooped up/raised axle plates like roths california choppers drawing. Pretty cool frame. it's getting and 18-over HD springer...well one of these days anyway. no time, but i have it built in my head!

Aw nice, Chris. The photoshop was spot-on. That bike was a feature bike in the April, 1971 issue of Custom Chopper.

Grant, Sounds cool. I'm sure that CA chopper art inspired many builds.

Rich, Long time since we've heard from you or have seen a post. Hope all is good.
