The detail right down to the old style of boot...well that nails it for me.
Not to forget to mention...you did a great job on the military flattie above too! Right down to the style of boot the troops were wearing at the time...

Chris, we both know that Flathead harley's RULE!! This has got to be in my head one of the best of the best from David Mann bar none! If it had a pitch fork sissy rail i'd tell people Dave drew this of me and the ole lady, ha-ha-ha-ha. FLATHEADS FOREVER..............

Chris, does the soldier have on boots or are those putties over heavy shoes? hence the wrap around straps.

Kevin, Yup this one sticks in the brain and just plain RULES!

Doc, It's been 8 years since I drew it so it's hard to remember my research. I believe they wore standard combat boots plus the putties for higher shin/calve protection.
